Blocking websites and Safari

Aura can restrict websites in Safari as well as apps. When you open the app picker from a list under Your Apps, Apple's picker includes web domains alongside apps.

What to know:

  • Blocking works in Safari. Third-party browsers like Chrome and Firefox handle

restrictions differently, and coverage varies by browser.

  • Blocking instagram.com does not block the Instagram app, and vice versa. If

you want both closed, add both.

  • Adult content has its own switch, separate from your lists.
