Aura starts out forgiving. If you want it to hold a firmer line, tighten the setup in this order.
1. Turn on Hard Mode. Go to Profile, Settings, then Difficulty. Hard Mode removes the weekly Scroll Pass and stops you ending a running block early. Aura does not prevent you from deleting the app, so do not treat it as an unbreakable lock.
2. Use Always Blocked for the apps you want gone. Apps in that list do not open for coins or a Scroll Pass.
3. Block the App Store. This closes the obvious route of reinstalling something you removed in a determined moment.
4. Lock Screen Time settings with a passcode. In iOS Settings, open Screen Time and choose Lock Screen Time Settings. Have someone else set the code if you know you will override it later.
5. Set honest reward rates. If you earn far more coins than you spend, your blocks are not costing you anything. Lower the rates until the trade feels real.
The settings make Aura harder to sidestep. Honest rates make it worth keeping.
