Why Aura asks for Screen Time permission

Aura uses Apple's Family Controls system, the same machinery behind Screen Time, to block the apps, websites, and adult content you select. That system requires your explicit permission, and iOS shows you a prompt the first time.

What this permission does give Aura: the ability to apply your chosen restrictions and lift them when you spend coins.

What it does not give Aura: any view of what you picked. Apple represents your selections as tokens that only your own device can interpret. We cannot read them, and neither can any company we work with. There is no readable block list on Aura's servers.

If you declined the prompt, you can grant it later in iOS Settings under Screen Time. Aura cannot block anything until you do.
